The Map Widget is a very simple Google Maps implementation via a FileMaker Card window. With a simple call to the Map Widget script from your FileMaker solution, you can have your location data display on a Google Map, complete with callbacks to FileMaker and marker clustering.
If you'd prefer not to integrate the Map Widget yourself, please contact us about an implementation package for assisting you with integrating the widget into your solution.
The Map Widget assumes the following:
1. FileMaker 16 is the minimum version required.
2. Your FileMaker solution has a found set of records with two fields containing digital latitude and longitude. The widget includes geocoding scripts for finding latitude and longitude from street addresses. Our documentation will be revised shortly to more completely document this functionality.
3. Your data has a primary key - an identifier field that is unique.
